CHEMICAL PARKS AND SITES - Chemical parks are strategically managed and integrated production parks that follow the motto “plug and play.” Germany’s concept of modern chemical parks is unique in the world - it offers an excellent pool of services and approx. 20 km2 free area for new plants. INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE – An optimal location in the center of Europe and an extensive and comprehensive logistics network make Germany an attractive place for investments in the chemical industry. The exceptional international pipeline system connects the German chemical industry to European trans-shipment centers for mineral oil, natural gas, and naphtha. R&D - Germany offers one of the most innovative chemical landscapes: 58 university chemistry faculties (including bio- and food chemistry), 24 universities of applied science offering chemistry, 68 non-university research institutes for the chemical industry, and numerous regional chemical cluster initiatives keep us on the cutting edge of research.
INCENTIVES - Germany offers investment incentives covering up to 50 percent of total capital expenditure. In addition, there is extensive support for employment and R&D.
